Theckla Kellermann died on 12 October 1931 at Marinette at age 51; She died at Midnight.

The following article appeared in the Marinette Eagle-Star:
     Death Claims Mrs. G. Cleary
Prostration of Week Terminates In Death At Midnight Sunday
At midnight Sunday death came to Mrs. Theckla Kellerman Cleary, wife of city treasurer George E. Cleary, at the Kellerman home in Currie Street. Death was due to complications arising from goitre operations performed years ago. While Mrs. Cleary had been poorly for some years she was able to be up and about and but a week ago she told an inquiring friend that she was feeling fine. She accompanied family members to Pound to a chicken dinner a week ago Sunday.
Early last week a change for the worse came and she was removed from her own home, 1012 Elizabeth avenue, to the home of her sister, Miss Jennie Kellerman, where her condition soon became alarming, her life-span terminating as the midnight hour came last night.
The body was removed to the McLain Funeral Home and this afternoon will be taken to the Cleary home in Elizabeth avenue. The funeral will be held from Our Lady of Lourdes church Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock, with the Very Rev. Dean F. G. Tulley as the celebrant of the requiem mass. Interment will be made in Forest Home Cemetery.
     Born in Juneau
Mrs. Cleary, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kellerman, pioneer residents of marinette, was born in Juneau, Wis, She came here with her parents in 1887 and had resided in Marinette ever since. She was married to George E. Cleary in this city a number of years ago.
The survivors are the bereaved husband; sisters, Mrs. Joseph A. J. Lauerman, Miss Jennie Kellerman and Mrs. George Newton, Marinette; brothers, Harry Kellerman of Watertown, and Max of Escanaba, Mich.
Mrs. Cleary was an active member of the Catholic Woman's Club and of Lourdes Altar Society. Members of both of these organizations will assemble at the Cleary residence Tuesday evening at 7:30 to recite the Rosary in unison for the soul of their departed member.12,13

The following article was printed in a Marinette, Wisconsin, newspaper:
     CLEARY
"Despite the unfavorable weather there was a vast turnout in Marinette this morning at the funeral of Mrs. Theckla Cleary, wife of George E. Cleary, city treasurer. The cortege formed at the Cleary residence in Elizabeth av., and proceeded to Our Lady of Lourdes church, where, at 9 o'clock the requiem mass was celebrated by the Very Rev. Dean F. G. Tulley, rector, in the presence of a large assemblage of sorrowing friends.
The casket was borne to and from the funeral car by Fred Coffey, George W. Graves, John Murphy, L. T. Plouff, Charles J. Lauerman, Thomas Finn, Arthur Reyyko, and George Doran. The many lovely flowers were carried by Mrs. Edward Murphy, Mrs. Joseph Yuenger, Mrs. A. J. Langer, Miss Marie Haas, Miss Florence Diebels, Mrs. L. T. Plouff, Mrs. John Murphy, Mrs. Fred Coffey, Mrs. John Scherer, Mrs. A. M. Fabry, and Mrs. Napoleon Nadeau. There were also numerous spiritual offerings, expressive of the sympathy of friends. Attending the obsequies from away were: Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kellerman, of Watertown, Wis; Mr. and Mrs. Max Kellerman, Escanaba; James Heeney, DePere; Mr. and Mrs. William Hughes, Kenosha; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cleary, Escanaba; Mrs. Matt Wabasel, Mr. and Mrs. William Wabasel, DePere; Frank Kellerman, Watertown, and Fred Cleary, Kenosha.
Interment was made in the Cleary plot in Forest Home Cemetery, the graveside services being conducted by the Rev. Tulley and the Rev. Fr. Henry Schmitt. The newly formed mound and the surrounding plot were covered with the beautiful floral tokens friends had sent.
Mrs. Cleary had died rather unexpectedly at midnight Sunday at the home of her sister, Miss Jennie Kellerman, the girlhood home of Mrs. Cleary, where she went a few days before when her illness assumed a more serious aspect. The preceding Sunday she attended church and later in the day went to Pound to attend a chicken dinner, hence her final illness was but of a few days duration.
Members of the Catholic Woman's Club and of Lourdes' Altar society attended the funeral in a court of honor for their late member. They also assembled at the Cleary home Tuesday evening to recite the rosary, as is their custom when a member departs."14

Theckla Kellermann was buried at Cleary Plot on 14 October 1931 at Marinette; The source is the funeral anouncement in a Marinette, Wisconsin, newspaper.

Funeral services were held on 14 October 1931 at Our Lady of Lourdes, Marinette, Marinette County, Wisconsin.12
