On Sunday, September 27th the children and other relatives of Mr. and Mrs. August Ruedebusch pleasantly surprised them in honor of their Golden wedding anniversary.

On Sunday, September 27th the children and other relatives of Mr. and Mrs. August Ruedebusch pleasantly surprised them in honor of their Golden wedding anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. August Ruedebush who number among the pioneer settlers of this city were married Sept. 27th, 1875 at Theresa at the home of the brides parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Langenbach by Judge S. W. Lamoreux. Shortly after their marriage they moved to this city where they have since resided.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Ruedebusch are enjoying the best of health and are still taking active part in the affairs of their home and community. It is nothing unusual to see Mr. Ruedebusch driving to his several farms bright and early regardless of weather conditions.
Mr. Ruedebusch for many years was engaged in the farm implement business and for years held the position as president of the State Bank of Mayville.
They are the parents of five children, Mr.s Fred Lang of this city, Richard, Mrs. W. H. Rueping and Mrs. John Goetz, all of Fond du Lac. Their other daughter, Mrs. Richard Schneider died several years ago.
