At a nuptial mass read at St. Mary's church at 10 a.m. today Miss Genevieve Agnes Downs, 85 Sheboygan street, and Marshall W. Tooley of Milwaukee, son of Mrs. Benjamin Shurbert, Milwaukee, were united in marriage by the Rev. M.E. Downs of Whitewater, uncle of the bride. Pink and white chrysanthemums and palms decorated the church. Alex G. Dana, uncle of the bride, presided at the organ and vocal selections during the service were rendered by David Dana. Edward and George Dana, cousins of the bride, served as acolytes at the mass.
Thomas Downs, brother of the bride, gave her in marriage. Her attendants were her two cousins, Mrs. Frank Kellerman, as matron of honor, and Miss Mary Dana and Miss Ethel Roche of Milwaukee, as bridesmaids.
Gown of Satin
White satin in princess lines with a long train fashioned the bridal gown worn with a finger tip length veil falling from a halo of braided satin. The bridal bouquet was of white pompoms and chrysanthemums.
Mrs. Kellerman's floor length costume was of lace in dubonnet shade worn with shoes and a small velvet toque in corresponding color. The bridesmaids wore duplicate frocks of ice blue satin with jackets adorned with quilted collars and cuffs. Their small velvet hats were of dubonnet. Bouquets of delicate pink pompoms and chrysanthemums were carried by the matron of honor and bridesmaids.
Frank Kellerman was the best man. Robert Dana, cousin of the bride, and Dr. G. J. Thibadeau served as ushers.
50 At Breakfast
Mrs. Downs, mother of the bride was attired in a black brocaded ensemble with gold accessories and the mother of the bridegroom wore black lace with white accessories. Mrs. M. Bauer of Milwaukee, grandmother of the bridegroom, wore a black costume with touches of silver.
Breakfast was served 50 guests following the ceremony at the Elks club and a reception was held at the home of the bride's mother. Miss Elizabeth Nuss and Miss Ernestine Wagner, intimate friends of the bride, poured.
Mr. and Mrs. Tooley left on a honeymoon in Chicago. Mr. Tooley is engaged as a salesman for the Klein and Reimer Meat Packing company.

Breakfast was served 50 guests following the ceremony at the Elks club and a reception was held at the home of the bride's mother. Miss Elizabeth Nuss and Miss Ernestine Wagner, intimate friends of the bride, poured.
Mr. and Mrs. Tooley left on a honeymoon in Chicago. Mr. Tooley is engaged as a salesman for the Klein and Reimer Meat Packing company.

While arranging the morning breakfast last Sunday morning Mrs. Gottfried Hertel died suddenly at her home, 421 East Water street, aged 74 years. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Toupalik of this city and located here with her parents when a small child. Ten sons were born to her, seven of whom and her husband survive her. Her funeral took place yesterday morning, and her remains were interred in St. Henry's cemetery.2
