A autumn wedding of much interest here took place this morning at St. Bernard's Catholic church when two well-known young people were united in marriage by the Rev. William Mahoney, pastor of the congregation, before a large number of friends and well-wishers of the bride and groom. The ceremony marked the wedding of Miss Lauretta Burns and Gerald P. Molzahn.
The bride was gowned in rose orchid georgette with hat to match and carried a bouquet of bridal roses. Her sister, Miss Genevieve Burns of Milwaukee attended her. Her gown was of chrysanthemum georgette with hat to match and she carried chrysanthemums. The groom was attended by his cousin, Edgar Kellerman.
Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents for immediate family members and a few friends. Mr. and Mrs. Molzahn left later on a wedding trip and will be at home to their friends after December 1 at 300 Warren street.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Burns, 722 West Main street, and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Molzahn of the town of Watertown.1

Mrs. Gerald Molzahn, 82, 6012 West Washington Boulevard, Wauwatosa, a former Watertown resident, passed away Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Milwaukee following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Watertown with Father Gerald Schmidt of St. Sebastian's Catholic Church, Wauwatosa, officiating. Interment will be in parish cemetery.
Friends and relatives may call to pay their respects at the Schmidt-Bartelt-Gerber Funeral Home, 1012 West North Avenue, Wauwatosa, on Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. The prayer vigil will be recited Sunday evening at 8 o'clock at the funeral home.
The former Lauretta Burns was born in Watertown June 7, 1896, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Burns. She taught for a number of years in the Columbus area.
Surviving are her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Rosemary) Fischer of Milwaukee, Mrs. Robert (Margaret Ann) Neis of Brookfield, and Mrs. Joseph (Geraldine) Cibulka of Sussex, 17 grandchildren, one great-grand daughter, and three sisters, Mrs. Alfred (Genevieve) Engel of Milwaukee, Mrs. Milton (Margaret) Murray of Milwaukee and Mrs. Kathryn Watry of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister.3
