Had Been Associated With Brother in Jussen's Market Here For Past 20 Years
     Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning, Oct. 27, at 9:30 at St. Patrick's church for William E. Jussen, who passed away Sunday, Oct. 24. Father Vincent Thomas officiated. Mr. Jussen had been in failing health for about six months. On Aug. 16, he discontinued active business and on Oct. 1 he entered the Sacred Heart sanitorium in Milwaukee. Later he was removed to St. Joseph's hospital where he submitted to an operation.
     Mr. Jussen has been a lifelong resident of Ripon. He was born here Dec. 1, 1876, a son of Edward and Theresa Jussen. For a number of years he clerked in Amend's Grocery store and later entered the employ of Graf. & Jussen. Twenty years ago he became a partner of his brother, Geo. in the Jussen market.
     Surviving relatives include his brother, George, and four sisters, Lucy, Chicago; Isabella, Paula and Marie, at home. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery. Pallbearers were Ray Amend, Leo Amend, Florinn J. Schaefer, Edward Behm, Donald Dolske and Harry Luedtke.5
